Why our education pricing is different
Employers pay us per person, per month for the same Passport, coaching and compliance tools. Applied to a 2,000-learner college, that would run to well over £100,000 a year, and young people would simply miss out. So we made a choice: education gets a fraction of commercial pricing, and our employer work helps carry the cost.

Procurement questions
Do smaller providers get fewer features?+
No. Every education licence includes the same toolkit and unlimited staff access. Prices vary by learner volume, not feature access. The pooled AI credit allocation is agreed in your quote; no band includes unlimited AI usage.
How are the per-learner examples calculated?+
We divide the fixed annual price by the maximum learner count in that band and round to the nearest penny. A smaller learner body has a higher effective per-learner cost. All prices and examples exclude VAT. Single licences cost £10 per learner per year; a cohort licence costs £595 per year for up to 100 learners. Exactly 4,000 learners on one site falls in the £3,450 band; multiple sites are quoted from £5,000.
Why is education pricing so much lower than your corporate plans?+
On purpose. Employers pay per person per month for Passport for Teams, which would put a 2,000-learner college well into six figures. That would never be justifiable for a public education budget, so we price education as a fixed institution licence and let our commercial work carry more of the infrastructure cost.
Do you accept purchase orders?+
Yes. Every education licence is quoted, invoiced against your purchase order and paid by BACS on 30-day terms. There is no card checkout.
What happens if we use all our AI credits before the year ends?+
Your careers team can top up in packs at our standard credit rate at any time. Nothing stops working for learners; only the AI features draw on credits.
Are staff logins charged?+
No. Tutors, heads of year, careers advisers and DSLs are included on every tier.
What happens to a learner's Passport when they leave?+
It stays theirs, free, for life. Once they turn 18 or leave your institution, it becomes an independent personal account they can carry into work, apprenticeships or university.
How is safeguarding handled?+
Peer privacy is absolute, but while learners are enrolled, designated staff such as your DSL retain oversight and audit access in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. AI coaching is prompt-only and never an open-ended private chat.
