As an Associate IQA, you will quality assure learner portfolios, support assessor standardisation, and help maintain high standards across the qualification. You'll work remotely with a flexible workload that can fit around your existing commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Internally quality assure learner portfolios in line with awarding organisation requirements.
Sample assessment decisions and provide constructive developmental feedback.
Support assessor standardisation and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure consistency, fairness and reliability of assessment decisions.
Identify trends and recommend quality improvements where appropriate.
Maintain accurate quality assurance records.
Work collaboratively with our Quality Team to ensure an excellent learner experience.
Person specification
Essential Requirements
Recognised IQA qualification (or equivalent).
Recent experience carrying out Internal Quality Assurance within Further Education and Skills.
Strong understanding of regulated qualifications and quality assurance processes.
Excellent written communication skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Confident using digital systems and online learning platforms.
Desirable
Experience of digital learning, educational technology or Artificial Intelligence in education.
Teaching or assessing qualification (AET, CET, DET or equivalent).
Experience working with awarding organisations.
Knowledge of quality assurance within adult education or vocational qualifications.
