WorkplaceHero Content & Image Use Policy

Why We're Here (Purpose & Scope)

At WorkplaceHero, we create and share content—like blogs, toolkits, images, and resources—to support learning, spark ideas, and help you grow. Everything we publish is for educational and informational purposes only. It’s not intended to replace professional advice, and while we do our best to keep things accurate and up to date, we can’t promise perfection.

If you spot something that doesn’t seem quite right, let us know at hello@workplacehero.co.uk—we’re always happy to review and improve.

By using any of our content, you’re agreeing to follow the simple guidelines below. Thanks for helping us keep things fair, respectful, and creative!

Sharing Content the Right Way

We love it when our work inspires yours! All we ask is that you credit WorkplaceHero clearly and follow a few simple rules to keep things respectful and legally sound.

When Sharing Written Content (Articles, Blog Posts, Training Materials)

  • Include a clear reference like:
    “Source: WorkplaceHero ([website URL])”

  • If you're sharing online, add a hyperlink to the original page.

  • On social media? Tag us or mention us so others can find the original too.

When Using Our Images or Graphics

  • Add a visible credit, such as:
“Image by WorkplaceHero” (or the original source, if we’ve shared one).

  • Please don’t crop out, edit, or remove any watermarks or copyright notes.

When It Comes to Third-Party Content

Sometimes we use content from others (like logos or licensed images). We’ll always credit where credit is due—and we don’t claim ownership of anything that’s not ours.

We also don’t endorse or take responsibility for third-party websites or services we might link to. If you think something’s been used unfairly, just email us at hello@workplacehero.co.uk—we take these things seriously and will look into it quickly.

Copyright & Fair Use (UK Law)

We follow UK copyright law, including:

  • The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 – especially Sections 29 & 30, which allow “fair dealing” for education, criticism or review.

  • The 2014 Education & Libraries Regulations, which support the use of content for non-commercial teaching and learning.

All images and media we use are either:

  • Licensed (e.g. royalty-free, Creative Commons, or purchased stock),

  • Shared under fair dealing for education,

  • Or properly credited to their source.

If you’re a copyright holder and believe we’ve made a mistake, get in touch and we’ll sort it out as quickly as possible.

A Note About AI-Generated Content

We sometimes use tools powered by artificial intelligence to help generate or refine content. While we always check and personalise everything before it goes live, we can’t guarantee that it’s 100% original in every possible way.

If anything we’ve published seems unintentionally duplicated or causes concern, please contact us—we’re committed to getting it right and working respectfully.

Friendly Reminders

By accessing and using WorkplaceHero content, you agree that:

  • It’s used at your own discretion for educational or informational use.

  • You’ll follow the guidelines above for sharing and attribution.

  • You understand that we may update this policy occasionally to keep it relevant.

Thanks for being part of the WorkplaceHero community and for supporting fair, thoughtful content sharing. Questions? Just drop us a line at hello@workplacehero.co.uk – we’d love to hear from you.
