Are your qualifications recognised?

Yes. Our regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework and are delivered with an approved awarding organisation. Our shorter CPD courses are CPD certified and issue a dated, verifiable certificate.

What is the difference between a regulated qualification and a CPD course?

Accepted Answer

A regulated qualification is externally quality assured, carries a level and credit value, and is what employers mean when they ask for a formal qualification. A CPD course builds and evidences professional knowledge but does not carry an RQF level. Many learners use CPD courses between qualifications to keep their practice current.

Do I need any prior qualifications to enrol?

Most of our courses have no formal entry requirements beyond being 19 or over and having a good standard of English. Practical assessor and teaching qualifications need access to real learners so you can be observed. Each course page lists its own entry requirements.

How long do courses take?

CPD courses typically take a few hours and can be completed in one sitting. Regulated qualifications usually take between 6 weeks and 6 months part time, depending on the size of the qualification and how quickly you gather evidence.

Is everything online?

Yes. All learning, submissions, feedback and assessment happen online through your learner dashboard. There are no compulsory in-person days.

Do I get a tutor?

On regulated qualifications you are allocated a dedicated tutor-assessor who marks your work, gives written feedback and supports you through to completion. CPD courses are self-paced with support available by email.

Can I study at my own pace?

Yes. You set the pace within your enrolment period, and you can pause and resume at any point. Your progress is saved automatically.

What happens if my work does not meet the criteria first time?

Accepted Answer

Nothing dramatic. Your assessor explains exactly which criteria are not yet met and what to add, and you resubmit. There is no extra charge for resubmission within your enrolment period.

When do I get my certificate?

CPD certificates are issued as soon as you complete the course. Regulated qualification certificates are issued by the awarding organisation once your portfolio has passed internal and, where sampled, external quality assurance.

Can employers verify my certificate?

Yes. Every certificate carries a unique verification code and a public verification link, so an employer or inspector can confirm it is genuine without contacting you.

Will this count towards my CPD record?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Completed courses log automatically to your CPD record in your account, and you can export it as a dated summary for appraisals or inspection.

Can my employer be invoiced?

Yes. Choose invoice at checkout or contact us and we will raise an invoice against a purchase order for individual or bulk enrolments.
