Training Agenda:
Introduction (3 minutes)

- Provide a clear definition of SWOT analysis:

Strengths and Weaknesses (5 minutes)
- Discuss the concept of strengths and weaknesses:
- Strengths are internal factors that represent an individual's or organisation's advantages or assets.
- Weaknesses are internal factors that represent areas where improvement or development is needed.
- Encourage the participant to reflect on their personal strengths and weaknesses and share examples.
Opportunities and Threats (5 minutes)
- Explain the concept of opportunities and threats:
- Opportunities are external factors that offer potential advantages or avenues for growth.
- Threats are external factors that pose challenges or risks to an individual or organisation.
- Discuss how identifying opportunities and threats can help in planning and decision-making.
Interactive SWOT Exercise (3 minutes)
- Engage the participant in a brief SWOT analysis exercise. Ask them to jot down:
- Three of their personal strengths.
- Three personal weaknesses or areas for improvement.
- Three opportunities they see in their current situation.
- Three external threats or challenges they are aware of.
Discussion (4 minutes)
- Review the participant's SWOT analysis and engage in a discussion:
- Ask the participant to share some of their identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Explore how they can leverage strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and mitigating threats.
Application and Action Planning (2 minutes)
- Encourage the participant to identify one specific action they can take based on their SWOT analysis.
- Discuss the importance of using the SWOT analysis as a basis for personal or professional development planning.
Conclusion and Q&A (1 minute)
- Summarise key takeaways from the session.
- Invite the participant to ask any remaining questions or seek clarification on SWOT analysis.

- Collect feedback from the participant regarding the training session, including what they found most valuable and any areas they would like to explore further.
