What is the Career Coach?+
The Career Coach is your always-on AI companion, available from a button on every page of your account. It reads your CPD record, Growth Plan, CV reviews and diagnostics, then gives you an honest read on where you stand, the highest-impact next step, and a relevant course to consider. Tap refresh after you log new CPD or update your CV and it brings its advice up to date. It coaches with questions and pointers - it never writes your goals or reflections for you.
How does the CV coach work?+
Upload your CV as a PDF or Word file and tell the coach the role you are aiming for. It reads your CV alongside your Passport, so it can spot training and credentials you have logged but left off, scores your readiness out of 100, flags gaps for the role and suggests stronger wording. Upload an updated version later and it shows what you improved and how your score moved. Your CV file is never stored.
Who gets 10% off qualifications and masterclasses?+
Individuals with their own PassportPro plan get 10% off qualifications and masterclasses they book and pay for themselves. The member price is applied automatically at checkout and cannot be combined with any other offer or promo code. The offer is for individuals only: it does not apply to organisations, to bookings paid for by an employer, or to PassportPro included through Passport for Teams or Passport Enterprise.
Does the AI coach write my reflections for me?+
No. The coach is single-turn and deliberately prompts rather than writes. It points out what your reflection already shows, then asks the questions that take it further. Goals get the same treatment, turning a vague intention into something specific and measurable. You always write the answer in your own words.
What happens if I stop paying?+
Your record is never held to ransom. Every CPD entry, upload and badge you earned stays exactly where it is. Free keeps your record; PassportPro adds the understanding layer on top.
Do I need an organisation to use PassportPro?+
No. PassportPro works for individuals straight away. If your workplace later joins Passport for Teams (or Passport Enterprise for 101+ staff), every active team member gets PassportPro alongside the same personal account - nothing moves, nothing resets.
Can my employer see my reflections?+
Only if you choose to share them. Personal reflections stay private by default. Managers see agreed summaries and activity measures, not your private writing.
Does my Passport follow me between jobs?+
Yes. One account per person, for life. Your CPD log and Passport travel with you as your role and employer change.
