How to import your existing CPD from a spreadsheet

You can bring in CPD you recorded elsewhere, for example in a spreadsheet or an old system.

1. Open your CPD log and select Import existing CPD.
2. Save your spreadsheet as a CSV file. One row per activity.
3. Upload the file. We show you which of your columns we think matches each field, and you can change any of them.
4. Check the preview. Rows with a problem are highlighted, so you can fix them before importing.
5. Confirm the import.

Things that trip people up

• Hours must be hours. Enter 0.5 for 30 minutes, not 30.
• Dates can be day/month/year or year-month-day. Both work.
• If something looks wrong, you have 24 hours to undo the whole import in one click.
