Continuing Professional Development only counts if it's written down. Bring your existing CPD with you
You don't have to start from scratch or retype years of records. If your CPD lives in Excel, Google Sheets or an old employer system, save it as a CSV and import the lot in one go.
Everything you import stays yours - edit it, add reflections, export it, or undo the whole import within 24 hours if it doesn't look right.
How importing works

Save your file as a CSV
In Excel or Google Sheets choose File, then Save as or Download, and pick CSV. One row per activity, with a header row at the top.

Open your CPD log and choose Import
The Import button sits next to CSV export on the Entries tab. There's a template you can download if you'd rather start from our format.

Match up your columns
We guess which of your columns is the date, title, hours, activity type, provider and reflection - you just correct anything we got wrong.

Check the preview and import
You'll see how many rows are ready, which have problems, and any that look like duplicates of entries you already have. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
Dates are read UK style, day first: 14/10/2026, 14 Oct 2026 or 14th October 2026 all work, and times after the date are ignored. Hours should be in hours, not minutes - half an hour is 0.5. The template includes example rows to copy.

Not sure a CPD log is worth the bother?
Fair. Plenty of people get away without one right up until the year they're audited, or the year they need to evidence three years of development for a job they really want.
