Your CPD log. Yours to keep.
You did the training. You sat through the webinar. You had the conversation that genuinely changed how you do the job.
Then appraisal comes round and you're digging through your inbox trying to remember when any of it happened.
A free CPD log that takes seconds to update, tallies your hours for you, and belongs to you - not your employer, not your last employer, and not a platform that'll ask for your card details in six months.
- Log anything that counts as CPD - courses, reading, observations, mentoring.
- Generate a read-only CPD record link for your appraisal. Revoke any time.
- Your data, your CPD diary. Move employers - your CPD portfolio goes with you.
Built for the record you'll actually be asked for
Continuing Professional Development only counts if it's written down. Whether you're a nurse facing revalidation, a teacher heading into performance review, a surveyor with an annual return to file or an accountant staring at a CPD declaration, the difference between "I did some learning this year" and a credible record is whether you wrote it down at the time.
Most people don't. Not because they're lazy - because the tool is a spreadsheet buried three folders deep, and nobody opens a spreadsheet on a Tuesday night.
So we made logging take about ninety seconds.
See it in action
This is what your CPD log looks like
Real screens from the real tool - no mock-ups, no "imagine this". This is what you get the moment you sign up.

Your year at a glance
A live progress ring against your annual target, hours by month, activity mix and standards coverage - so you always know exactly where you stand.

Entries that take ninety seconds
Search, filter by year or activity type, export to CSV. Every entry holds your hours, provider, reflection and the standards it evidences.

Badges worth sharing
Milestones unlock automatically as you log - hours, streaks, reflections, targets met. Each badge has a verifiable public page and a branded image for LinkedIn.

Targets matched to your profession
One tap sets a sensible target for NMC, HCPC, teaching, RICS, accounting and more - or set your own hours and CPD year start.
Everything in one place
Courses, e-learning, reading, mentoring, conferences, shadowing, the CPD you did on the job without calling it CPD. One log, one format, one place you'll actually keep up with.
Hours and points, counted for you
Set your annual target and watch it fill up. No adding columns, no wondering whether you're short going into December.
Room for the bit that matters
Regulators don't just want hours - they want to know what changed. Every entry has space for your reflection and learning outcomes, so when someone asks "and how did that affect your practice?", you've already answered it.
Export in one click
A clean PDF or CSV summary, ready for your appraiser, your professional body or an interview panel. Filter by year, activity type or competency first if you only need part of it.
It moves with you
Change jobs, change sector, go freelance - your record comes with you. No employer platform holding your last four years of learning hostage.
What you get
- Activity log with date, type, hours, provider and evidence
- Reflections and learning outcomes on every entry
- Annual hours target with live progress
- Goals and a development plan you can revisit
- Filters for year, type and competency
- PDF and CSV export
- Reminder prompts, so logging becomes a habit rather than a January panic
Free forever for individuals
No card. No trial that quietly ends. Free for individual workers, permanently.
Not sure a CPD log is worth the bother?
Fair. Plenty of people get away without one right up until the year they're audited, or the year they need to evidence three years of development for a job they really want.
The honest case for it: five minutes a month now saves you a very bad weekend later. And a proper record makes you far better at spotting the gaps in your own skills, which is the point of CPD in the first place.
Frequently asked questions
- What is a CPD log?
- A record of the learning and development you've completed - what you did, when, how long it took, who provided it, and what you took away from it. Most professional bodies expect you to keep one and to produce it on request.
- How many CPD hours do I need?
- It depends on your regulator, and some don't count hours at all. The NMC works on practice hours and reflective accounts, the GPhC wants a set number of records rather than hours, and the HCPC asks for a portfolio if you're selected for audit. Set your own target in the tool and adjust it to whatever your body actually asks for.
- Is this better than a spreadsheet?
- Honestly, a spreadsheet works - right up until it's corrupted, left on an old laptop, or sitting on a work drive you lose access to the day you resign. This does the same job, adds up your hours for you, and stays yours.
- Can I add CPD I did before signing up?
- Yes. Backdate as far as you like - most people spend their first sitting catching up on the last year.
- What evidence should I attach?
- Certificates where you have them, attendance confirmations for webinars and conferences, and your own reflection notes for reading, podcasts and on-the-job learning. Keep it for at least five years unless your professional body says otherwise.
- Can I share my log with my manager or appraiser?
- Yes - export a PDF and send it. You choose what goes in it.
- Is it really free?
- For individuals, yes, permanently. If you're an employer looking after a whole team, that's a different conversation - our Workplace CPD courses are built for that.
